Senior Onsite Recruiter – Temporary recruitment
Position: Senior Onsite Recruiter (temporary)
Location: London, City
Reporting to: Operations Director
Function:
- This role is to manage the Recruitment Desk and conduct all permanent or temporary/contract recruitment across all skillbands. This role is to cover a maternity leave.
- To achieve operational efficiency and effectiveness in recruitment process
- To provide superior service and develop strong relationships with all key stakeholders
- Actively contribute to the implementation of strategic initiatives to improve recruitment outcomes for the Client
- To manage team effectively, encouraging focus on delivery and results
- Ensure meaningful MI information and reporting is produced that measures and reflects the value Resource Solutions adds to the client
- Identify and follow up opportunities to upsell and cross-sell RS services
Responsibilities:
Client:
- All day to day activity for the recruitment of temporary and permanent staff
- Advising on recruitment strategy and sourcing techniques for all temporary and permanent roles
- Ensure the client’s permanent recruitment system (Vurv) is used to advertise all permanent hires on the intranet external vacancy site
- Advising on market trends and skills
- Creating, reviewing and updating recruitment processes to ensure best practice, internal policy compliance and external legislative compliance
- Producing and updating guidance manuals for engaging and hiring managers
- Various in-depth reporting – financial, headcount, HR, Robert Walters master vendor performance
- Escalation of HR/ recruitment issues
- Ensuring full compliance with the Service Level Agreement
- Conducting HR interviews at final round for all permanent roles
- Working alongside HR Relationship Managers, keeping them updated regularly about the status of recruitment
Vendor Management
- Managing and optimising the master vendor relationship with Robert Walters for contract recruitment to ensure a motivated supply chain providing best quality resources within necessary timeframes
- Managing and optimising PSL vendor relationships to ensure a motivated supply chain providing best quality resources
- Preparing and conducting annual vendor performance reviews to ensure the client is receiving the best service
- Reviewing and negotiating commercial terms
- Ensure all external suppliers on the PSL have signed Terms of Business
- Producing and updating guidance manuals for vendors
- Facilitating agency briefings with hiring managers
Team management
• Bi-annual performance reviews, including objective setting and bonus allocations
• General team management (weekly update meetings, holiday, sickness, discipline)
• Individual staff development, including cross skill training
• Ensuring 100% data integrity by team
General
• Recommendations of service needs, training, Resource Solutions process, the clients process
• Payrolling and contract management of all direct temporary/contract candidates via Resource Solutions
• Payrolling and contract management of all Interns via Resource Solutions
• Management of all internal and external speculative applications
• Monitoring visa expiry dates
• Monitor all Limited Company contractor Insurances ensure policies are renewed upon expiry
• Temp to perm conversion management
