Senior Operational Risk Manager / Enterprise Risk Manager recruitment

Key responsibilities will include

Engaging across the business at a senior level and taking responsibility for the Risk Reports that are highly influential, with decisions and outputs from Board meetings being heavily reliant on the information contained therein
Stream-lining the existing Operational Risk Process and supporting the continuous evolution of an appropriate Risk Framework in line with the Bank’s risk profile and tolerance

Key Responsibilities

Producing quarterly Bank-wide reporting to the Bank’s risk committees (Operational Risk Committee, Business Risk Committee and Audit Risk Committee), including analysis of incidents and indicators across all strategic, operational and financial risk analysis
Providing ongoing analysis and research on the Bank’s individual risk assessments and overall risk profile
Plan and implement risk profile analysis tools such as back-testing and scenario analysis
Produce quality training and communications materials on risk management to support the development and enhancement of a strong Bank-wide risk management culture and awareness
Support the maintenance and development of Bank-wide risk and incident management software tools

Key Skills required

This role would suit an experienced professional from an Operational Risk, Enterprise Risk or Internal Audi risk background
Proven risk report writing skills at the highest level of strategic importance
Proven track record in risk management with strong analytical abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to interact confidently with senior management
Intelligent and creative thinker, able to grasp complex issues quickly
Professional qualifications are desirable although those ‘qualified by experience’ will be equally considered
Good analytical and presentational skills
