Senior Operational Risk Manager recruitment
THE COMPANY:
Our client is an instantly recognizable retail bank who offer a diverse range of products including savings, investments, mortgages and insurance. They are looking for an experienced operational risk person to join their oversight team.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- As the key interface for Business Risk you will provide essential oversight of the first line, in order to assist them in achieving their overall objectives.
- Forming part of the Oversight team you will be responsible for implementing a framework and methodology
- Review and challenge 1st line business activity
- Provide risk management SME support to 1st line Divisions
- Report on the effectiveness of 1st line risk management activity
- Providing performance measurements and feedback to Divisional Directors, you will be able to instigate deep dive reviews in relation to control assessment validation and incident root cause analysis.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Operational risk background gained within financial services
- Previous experience of facing off to the business and developing relationships
- Ideally educated to degree level
