Senior Operations Associate
ipagoo(TM) is the brand name of a new range of innovative cutting-edge payment solutions for the UK and the larger European markets. For the launch of its new retail online service we are recruiting to cover various positions.

Major Responsibilities:
- Manage tasks on banking platform
- Processing of any required manual payments/internal transfers
- Daily reconciliations
- Assist Head of Operations where necessary in project management UAT of banking platform
Personal Profile:
- University degree or equivalent
- Impeccable professional record
- Must be able to get involved in the process from the ground up
- Absolute attention to detail and high degree of accuracy when working under pressure
- Ability to prioritise own workload and respond to immediate deadlines
- Exceptional command of English language coupled by excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A good team player who interacts with different members of the team, providing support where necessary
- If not a native of English language the candidate must be native in at least one European language
- Able to working alternate Saturdays
Experience:
- Supervisory experience
- Significant experience in the financial sector working for a regulated institution (preferably a bank) in an operations function; retail banking, private banking, credit card processing or similar
- Must have a solid experience in using SWIFT, BACS, CHAPS, Direct Debit, and SEPA (STC, SDD)
- A flexible approach to work, with ability to be proactive and also responsive
- Application of creative thinking to problems and systems/process enhancements
- Ability to demonstrate initiative
- Detailed understanding of back office settlement processes, payments, reconciliation cycle/practices
- Strong PC skills
- Analytically minded with strong problem resolving skills
- Ability to prioritise multiple responsibilities to meet internal and external deadlines
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal clients
