Senior Manager (Operations)

My client is a leading provider of investment management and financial advisory services to private clients, corporate and professional practices
The role offers plenty of of autonomy and the opportunity to fully utilise relevant experience

The overall purpose of the role is to provide operational support to the investment front office to implement change and the delivery of long term strategy. This requires a sound understanding of Private Client operations and the knowledge and experience to implement new rules and procedure

Experience/Skills:

•Private Client industry knowledge and experience essential
•Project management skills and experience an advantage
•Computer literate, proficient in use of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint

Key responsibilities:

Front Office Support

•Provide operational support to investment front office teams across all offices
•Compile operational procedures for new products and initiatives
•Liaise with Settlement Operations, Banking and other central support departments to implement in relation to the above

Change management

•Assist and provide support to the investment front office change program
•agreeing change requirements
•scoping and defining objectives
•preparation of cost benefit analysis
•production of planning, preparation and supporting documentation
•managing change requirements

•Provide general support to senior management in the Investment Front Office Operations Team in the execution of their duties
◦analysing tasks and incidents
◦defining actions to be taken and agreeing resource requirements
◦managing and reporting progress
•Management of other team staff
