Senior Portfolio Manager | Director | Global Asset Manager | Singapore
My Client is a leader in Asia-Pacific High Yield and Investment Grade Fixed Income products and they are currently expanding their team in Singapore.
They are seeking candidates with exceptional general knowledge of the Asia Pacific Credit markets combined with a proven track record of running a multi-million dollar fixed income book. The team is diverse, well established as is highly meritocratic and they are seeking people that are driven to succeed, not just money motivated.
Responsibilities
- Initially managing a multi-million dollar FI book mainly focused on Pan-Asian High Yield Corporate debt, analysing its current risk/return profil and suggesting new areas to expand into
- Work closely with the CIO and Senior Fund Managers to strategies the overall focus of the firm and key new areas across Asia Pacific to generate exceptional returns
- Perform market research and work with Junior analysts to develop a rigorous framework of investment analysis
Key Criteria
- At least 15 years total experience within the financial services mainly based within the credit analysis/research/fund management space
- At least 5 years running a portfolio of High Yield, Investment Grade or Distressed Debt products
- University Educated; obtaining at least a BSc. in Finance, Economics, Business or Accounting from a Global top 50 University
- Highly technical with a comprehensive understanding of analysising fixed income investment proposals
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin with a proven background in presenting to Investment Strategies to Senior Management
