Assistant Fund Manager/ Equity Analyst – UK Fund
Our client is major European Asset management firm, who are looking to add an Assistant Manager to their UK fund. This fund invests in major UK companies, and also little known businesses whether there is a real opportunity for capital and divident growth.
In this role, you will learn how to be a fund manager, assisting the senior PMs with stock selection and asset management, and buy and sell decisions, as well as working on specific pieces of equity research.
You will join a really stable team.
Candidates will have a background as follows:
- sell side equity analysts with blue chip firms
- buy side equity analysts
- chartered accountants with corporate finance or valuation skills
- investment bankers looking to move into asset management
- real interest in UK equities
- as the most junior role on the team, you need to be willing to assist the senior fund managers and so its probably not suitable for those who have managed money in the past
