APG is looking to recruit a Senior Portfolio Manager Natural Resources in Amsterdam
As Senior Portfolio Manager you will be responsible for the Natural Resources Portfolio. This global portfolio includes investments in agriculture, forestry, mining, energy and gas. You have significant experience in terms of structuring and governance as well as monitoring in relation to unlisted Joint Ventures and funds and/or investments that focus on investing in unlisted companies. You will negotiate contracts (fees, mandate definitions), conduct and assess due diligence investigations and conduct and assess the valuation of existing and new investment opportunities.
You will be based in Amsterdam (Zuid-As), the Netherlands.
You will be joining a team that is currently under development. You will work closely with experienced professionals in a small team with a strong focus on sustainability.
We ask:
- You have a business economics and/or law university graduate, and you are also a CFA or CAIA charter holder.
- You are highly proficient in Excel.
- You have at least 5 to 10 years’ relevant work experience.
- You have a strong affinity for sustainability (ESG).
- You’re a conscious actor in your work environment
- You have a strong and convincing personality, you act with great integrity, and you are a clear communicator.
