We currently have an exciting direct hire opportunity for a Senior Process Technology Engineer in Trumbull, CT. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that innovations are smoothly transitioned to the supply chain and processing technology is appropriately leveraged in designing new products. Responsibilities and prospects for professional growth include: Partner with formulation and packaging development to ensure smooth transition to supply chain through appropriate design of experiments and subsequent modifications to manufacturing equipment and processing conditions Provide manufacturing and equipment specifications to supply chain for commercialization of new technology Partner with supply chain to identify and validate processing/equipment improvements to achieve lowest cost production through process harmonization, waste reduction, batch cycle reduction, etc. Lead projects and partner with equipment manufacturers to bring new technology into plants to enable both radical new product physical chemistry and lowest cost production Build a winning culture obsessed with innovation by demonstrating these behaviors Education and experience required: BS or MS in Science or equivalent degree 5-10 years of related experience CPG experience (Consumer Packaged Goods) Experience working with liquid goods Demonstrated leadership in a technical field within a FMCG company Demonstrated ability to partner with formulation development to speed the scale up from lab scale to full scale production Demonstrated ability to partner with supply chain to identify and validate process improvements to achieve lowest cost of production through batch cycle reduction, decreased waste due to changeover, etc. Strong project management skills Flexibility to deal with modifications and pressure to meet deadlines In addition to working with the most recognized and trusted name in staffing, Kelly employees can expect: Competitive pay Access to an employee benefits package including health, prescription, vision, dental and life and short-term disability insurance Service bonus and holiday pay Recognition and incentive programs Access to continuing education via the Kelly Learning Center For immediate consideration, click the APPLY NOW! button, or refer a friend by clicking the EMAIL THIS JOB link provided.
