Senior Product Consultant

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced technologist to get in on the ground floor with an established company with a great potential for growth. It is a south west London (Twickenham) based Professional Services role in a small but international company which has the backing and support of a well-established parent company.
Responsibilities will include:
· Providing implementation consultancy, customer assistance and post-implementation support to the companies sclients in their deployment and use of their software. Specifically (but not limited to):
o Working with customers to assess requirements
o Working with customer data to design the solution
o Developing bespoke customer solutions where necessary
· Creating implementation plans for new and existing clients
· Creating accurate estimates and quotations for the companies professional services
· Mentoring and developing junior team members and partners
· Day to day self-management of commitments and priorities
· Reporting on project delivery to Project Management
· Developing productive working relationships within the company and its teams in other territories
· Enhancing the corporate reputation and visibility in the UK through promotion of the product and technical expertise
· Liaising and co-ordinating with partners to ensure optimal delivery of services to clients
· Reporting to the UK Consulting manager
You will have 3+ years experience of team leadership in a professional services environment. You will have experience of acting as an escalation point for other consultants and very strong problem solving skills. You will have demonstrable experience of development or professional services in an enterprise software company or consultancy. Knowledge of online or offline direct marketing functions is an asset, though not required. You will be comfortable responding to the varying demands of working for a dynamic, young, international company. You are a self-motivated individual, presentable to blue chip clients, with well-developed inter-personal communication skills and a strong desire to succeed.
You will have demonstrable experience in the following disciplines:
Essential
· RDBMS SQL (PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server or Oracle)
· Scripting/Programming (JavaScript or other)
· HTML / CSS and web technologies
Desirable
· Linux and Windows Server
· System administration and network administration knowledge would be of benefit
Training in the systems and customer applications will be given partly with head office in Paris, as well as on the job.
