Senior Product Governance Manager

 

Principal responsibilities

In this role, you will:

 

·         Ensure development of wealth products, including 3 party products, and ongoing Product Governance in compliance with Group standards

·         Ensure consistent product risk rating and mapping to customer needs in the financial planning framework

·         Create a Product Quality Assurance framework to monitor, assess and report on the health of ongoing product governance in the region

·         Flag and review product governance issues with relevant stakeholders and make appropriate recommendations and interventions

·         Establish minimum Pricing and Fees standards in compliance with Group policy, flag deviations and intervene appropriately

·         Monitor product trends and concentrations in the wealth management and consumer portfolio by various risk dimensions and escalate key issues     

·         Engage in wealth product based pre-audits and reviews across the region with relevant parties as appropriate

·         Keep informed of product related regulatory developments and ensure customer solutions adhere to regulatory requirements

·         Build stakeholder relationships both at a regional and country level and deliver change through collaborative partnerships

 

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

 

·         Seasoned experience in wealth management with a focus on Product Governance and Quality Assurance and with a strong track record of results delivered. 

·         Knowledge of   Product practices and standards in some of the Asian markets is required; experience and understanding of regulatory requirements in the Asia markets will be a definite advantage

·         Strong Business and Operational Risk focus with the ability to monitor and assess key risks at both a country and regional level

·         Knowledge of the Consumer Banking and Wealth Management organization in Asia and its wealth products, processes and pertinent regulations affecting their delivery

·         Effective country relationship management skills with the ability to challenge practices, gain consensus and agreement on best practices and standards

·         Demonstrable interpersonal and influencing skills, people leadership and coaching skills

·         Excellent communication skills and ability to write persuasively and converse fluently in English
