Job Description:

The candidate will support the Chief Engineer in program planning and execution.  Efforts will include supporting the Program Protection Team and developing Anti-Tamper Protection documentation. The candidate will work closely with government program offices, and DoD and DoN AT and Technology Protection authorities to plan and execute protection of Critical Program Information and Critical Technologies throughout system life cycles.  The candidate will provide PM, Prime Contractor, and Systems Engineering interfaces and coordination, to include assessments on detailed program schedules, and participation in PM and technical meetings with government and prime contractor representatives.  The candidate may assist the development and staffing of briefings, point papers, reports, plans of actions and milestones, schedules, or similar documents.  On occasion, the candidate may address large groups to provide progress reviews and assessment results.  The candidate may be required to assist process improvement efforts, particularly those related to their functional areas.  The candidate will routinely report accomplishments and challenges that require leadership attention. 

 

Job Requirements:

Experience in weapons systems and weapon systems programs; demonstrated leadership and supervisory ability; ability to manage multiple projects and deliver products on time/schedule/cost; ability to work with minimal oversight and interact well with others; demonstrated background knowledge, problem-solving skills and initiative; and experience in DoD acquisition processes.  The candidate must also have excellent written and oral communications skills.   Prior experience in NAVAIR programs, DoD Program Protection Plans/AT/ Information Assurance (IA) processes is also required.

Candidate must be able to obtain a  Secret Clearance.
