Senior Programmer – Hedge fund, Buyside, Developer, C#, .net, WCF, WPF, Equity, Trading systems recruitment
Offshore hedge fund with excellent returns seeks a talented C++/ C# /.NET developer to work on the desk. The team trade a wide range of Equities globally. The role would suit an experienced developer who has at least 5 years experience in an investment bank or hedge fund front or back office with exposure to front office development a definite plus. The role would suit a candidate with a strong computer science background, and solid academics, coupled with strong C# programming skills, overall strong ability with the .NET stack, WCF, WPF, Silverlight development expertise.
The role will be varied and range from the development of new systems and tools, to ad-hoc trading related work and analysis. This represents a great opportunity to move closer to the business. Candidates with good Excel/VBA in addition to C# would be ideal.
We are looking for a self-starter, with good communication skills, and a low maintenance approach to getting things done correctly.
Equity trading system development experience is preferred.
This role is based offshore and would suit a young family looking for a good quality of life in a sunny and generally warm climate.
