Senior Project Manager
A leading Global Investment Management Company is currently looking to recruit a Senior eCommerce Project Manager to join a new strategic initiative programme of work.
The eCommerce department is expanding in order to satisfy the high level of demand from the business for both short term tactical projects, and are about to embark on a long term strategic development programme aimed at re-positioning their online customer experience through the expansion of both their web content management capability and the transactional websites.
The successful candidate will manage a diverse range of projects in terms of scope, size and complexity. As the Project Manager you will have full end to end responsibility for allocated projects, including the business related activities, requirements that will include UX, content build, procurement for local developments and working with the offshore teams.
You will need to have previous experience in project deliveries including design and user experience techniques. User experience is critical in all deliverables and you should have prior experience of design and interaction on the web for personal financial service domains.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience
- A proven track record of delivering projects including design and UX
- A knowledge of Retail Investment Products within an investment management business with an understanding of all of the key elements of the business operating environment
- Knowledge of Web Design and Technology, understanding the professional disciplines involved, the supply processes and technologies utilised
- Proven IT project management experience across the whole project lifecycle with a track record of successful implementations and strong business relationships
- Managed projects with budgets of £5M+
- Experience of working in a supplier organisation of delivering web projects to customers
- Delivery and results focused with the ability to manage complex client relationships
- Ability to take high level directions/ideas and turn them into the required deliverables
- Experience of selecting, managing and working with a third party vendor or system integrator
- Good customer awareness, with the ability to manage customer expectations
- Service-oriented
- Ability to work with clients to a senior level
