Senior Project Manager
This position will proactively manage new project delivery for System enhancement initiatives. The Project Manager must have the right balance of program management, Website development, wireless knowledge, and customer communication skills. This position involves driving projects through various Verizon processes and managing the required internal and external teams. A large part of driving the System enhancement projects involves managing Customer expectations.
Included Responsibilities:
• Create strategic System framework to enable Channel Partner programs
• Lead the development and on-going definition / creation of requirements detailing the capabilities and functionality of enabling tools
• Clearly define Marketing Service Requirements; including detailed description of the requested capability, use cases for how the customer will leverage the capability, the characteristics of the customer experience, and the incremental subscriber and revenue forecast for the solution.
• Analyze customer needs for services, applications and platform implications
• Maintain overall vision / roadmap for the existing and next gen build-out supporting multiple Partner Tiers
• Lead, inspire and gain the trust of cross functional teams while leveraging their skills to meet project objectives.
• Provide executive level updates of the project on regular basis. Foresee and mitigate risks and be accountable for the project's success.
• Identify ongoing opportunities for operational efficiencies, to ensure customer satisfaction in order to continue revenue growth and increase market share as well as be accountable for annual revenue targets for VES Channel Partner Programs.
5+ years of wireless/telecommunications/technology experience
• 5+ years of project development and management
• Demonstrated leadership and management skills
• Proven track record as a successful negotiator with all levels of management
• Demonstrated track record in the development and deployment of projects and new technologies.
• Technical leadership and excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, presentation, oral and written communications skills
• Excellent judgment and the ability to handle escalated situations.
• Proven ability to build relationships and work independently
• Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans
• High energy, self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills
