Introduction: Montash Associates have been exclusively retained by an innovative and incredibly profitable Commodities trading Firm, to assist in the search for and acquisition of an exceptionally strong Senior Project Manager (PM) / Trading System Project Manager (PM).
The Organisation: This firm has one of the highest revenue per employee ratios in the world, and is centred in London. A heavy investor in technology, this firm wants to be the market leader via employing and rewarding the very best talent. Based on a strong business model, this firm has seen profits largely unaffected by the recession.
The Team: An exceptional Front Office Technology Team within a truly entrepreneurial organisation.
The Project: A Greenfield project. This team is building a new system that encompasses all activity, from pre-trade, through execution to settlement. It is a true front to back solution.
The Role: This is an opportunity for a highly motivated experienced Project Manager to play a key part in the build of this system. Within this role, the candidate will manage the delivery of component parts of a strategic programme for the trading division, delivering major functional enhancements and technical infrastructure on a new trading system.
The Skills:
- Extensive experience managing software build projects for trading / investment organisations.
- A track record of clear success in managing complex software development projects.
- Experience of working across full SDLC, from inception through to delivery and post-deployment support.
- Track record of taking executive responsibility for project troubleshooting and problem solving.
- Experience of management, retention and development of internal resources assigned to the project.
- Ability to manage relationships with a variety of key stakeholders.
- An ability to get things done on time and to act accordingly if this appears unlikely.
- Strong, relevant academic background.
The Package: This firm is looking to acquire the very best candidates; a total comp (base + bonus) of up to £200k plus benefits plus stock options reflects this.
