Senior Property and Casualty Underwriter
Full Job Description
This is a front line trading opportunity in a successful branch for an experienced senior underwriter, responsible for the acquisition and retention of profitable Property Casualty business.
In addition to underwriting and negotiating new business, you will be responsible for developing strong relationships with our customers, providing excellent customer service and underwriting professionally in accordance with Allianz standards. You will also play a key role in training and developing members of the underwriting team and taking technical referrals
Sound interpersonal skills combined with strong technical knowledge of Property and Casualty underwriting are essential for this role, as is your ability to influence effectively at all levels.
Strong negotiation and trading underwriting skills, together with good market awareness are vital. You will have a proven track record of consistently delivering a high level of customer service and utilising dynamic trading skills to achieve targets. Previous leadership experience would be advantageous.
You`ll be working towards or have achieved your ACII and be able to work productively within a team environment.
Enthusiastic and results orientated, you`ll have the ability to make a real contribution to our team.
