Advantage Professional are currently recruiting for a Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk for a well respected household name based in Manchester. This is on a permanent basis.

Joining a large and well established team you will be responsible for the:

- Weekly payment runs both BACS and Cheques
- Production of weekly and period end statement reconciliation and reports
- Ensure all documentation is compliant
- Liaise with suppliers, handling queries and resolving any queries

You will be an experienced purchase ledger clerk who is used to working in a large finance function, preferably within a shared service centre environment. As well as purchase ledger experience you will also have travel and expenses experience along with processing a high volume. You will be an effective team player who is engaging, creative and an ideas person who likes to put forward their thoughts on improving processes and standards. You will be used to working in a KPI environment and be target driven. Excellent time management skills are essential, and have a positive and enthusiastic manner who likes to succeed and prides themselves on having high standards. Previous knowledge of working on a scanning and or invoice management systems would be advantageous. You need to be confident using Excel, particularly v-look ups and pivot tables. This role would ideally suit someone who has some supervision experience.
