About the role

As a senior member of our Customer Relations Department, you’ll carry out quality checks on completed customer cases across Life, Pension and Investment products. The focus will be on making sure our responses are in line with both Financial Services Authority and Financial Ombudsman Service guidelines. You’ll therefore be guaranteeing that cases are dealt with efficiently, that they’re completed within appropriate timescales and that they’re resolved to the highest of standards. In addition, you’ll provide feedback to the case handlers, identifying areas they can improve and building the capacity of this key department. As a role it’s not without its challenges, but with your proactive approach to developing your abilities, you’ll rise to them to with confidence.

About you

An expert in Life, Pension and Investment products, you’ll have experience of redress calculations and the complaints lifecycle in a Financial Services setting. In support of this, you’ll possess either a FPC 123 or CEFA qualification, plus be ready to undertake further study in a more technical area. You’ll need strong communication skills, a well-developed ability to plan and organise, and the drive to achieve targets in a highly regulated environment – at all times showing a real dedication to the provision of world-class customer service. In addition, you’ll work well as part of a team, bringing out the best in those around you while building open, honest relationships across the wider group.
