Experience:
* Entrants to this position generally possess 15+ years of experience with engineering, procurement and construction projects and operating industrial facilities.
* Lead Auditor/Auditor Certificate desired.
Requirements:
* TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required
Preferences:
* Experience with large utility projects, substations, chillers, cooling towers

Job Description:
URS Corporation is looking for a Senior Quality Manager to join their Program team in Salt Lake City, UT. This individual will have direct responsibility and oversight for the quality department. This position will functionally report to the Program Manager. Program consists of multi-year execution of an operations and maintenance contract for a large data center.
Job duties:
* Responsible for oversight of subcontractor quality programs to ensure compliance with plans and specifications, quality procedures and administration.
* Responsible for maintenance and updates of quality program procedures, and subcontractor flow-down quality control procedures.
* Quality oversight of Operations and Maintenance efforts.
* Provide quality support to the program for level of effort deliverables
* Ensures that the product is designed, procured, and installed in accordance with contract drawings and specifications.
* Guides and directs lower level personnel on the set-up and performance of tests.
* Acts as liaison with outside suppliers in establishing or modifying specifications for purchased items.
* Participates in the development, maintenance, and refinement of internal quality control and reliability programs.
* Ensures that the company and customer's requirements are met on assigned products, programs, areas, or functions.
* Identifies root causes and recommends corrective action to quality problems.
* Provides technical support and advises other engineering groups.
* May work in any of the following areas of quality control/assurance engineering: design, incoming material, process control, product evaluation, inventory control, product reliability, research and development and administrative application.
* Manages, improves, and promotes the quality system to assure compliance with the Company quality policy and applicable regulations.
* Provides maintenance procedure writing oversight.
