Senior Real Estate Asset Manager recruitment
Firm is a London-based investment fund that invests primarily in illiquid credit opportunities and focuses on purchases of bank debt and providing new capital to (i) corporates, (ii) real estate and (iii) financial assets purchase situations. The firm focuses on investments backed by realizable assets to SMEs in Europe who lack access to traditional capital sources. The fund is industry agnostic and flexible in investing across the capital structure.
The firm is looking for a senior real estate asset manager. The asset manager will work alongside the fund’s senior investment professionals and will be responsible for the on-going monitoring and management of existing and new debt and equity investments:
- Monthly monitoring of loan covenants, interest payments, rental payments, etc.
- Overseeing outside construction consultants
- Managing existing joint venture relationships
- Overseeing leasing, sales processes, etc.
- Managing workout processes when necessary
- Valuation of existing investments
Candidates should have the following attributes, including:
- Strong numerical, financial analysis and proven modeling skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Preferably an engineering/construction or workout background or experience in a similar role at a financial services/investment firm
- 7+ years of work experience
- English – fluent
Compensation, including salary / discretionary bonus, will be competitive. Firm is looking for candidates to start in June/July 2012
