Senior Recruitment Manager – APAC recruitment
The incumbent will provide expert consultation on all phases of the staffing continuum; plan/implement all activities relating to staffing strategy, sourcing, recruiting, candidate development, selection and hiring. You will also work closely with business managers to build the required talent and capabilities within the organisation in order to deliver the business strategy in the short and long term. This is a key role that requires a responsive, strategic and client-facing individual.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic partnering with executive management and hiring managers to bring in quality hires to meet business needs
- Ensure the recruiting process meets all defined metrics and goals stated by the organization
- Lead recruiting efforts for APAC locations, leveraging on available resources
- Partner with Corporate HR in managing the job levels and salary ranges for all positions
- Compile all hiring reports for Corporate HR and hiring managers
- Leverage on online networking resources to proactively identify candidates best-suited for the company
- Fill open positions within the established timeframes
- Conduct reference checks, background investigations and certification verifications
- Provide accurate, complete and inspiring information to candidates about the company
- Oversee the offer process which includes background checks, salary recommendations and closing
- Participate in business meetings initiated by the Head Office and regional offices
Requirements
- At least 12 years of solid recruiting experience at a regional level, preferably managing senior hires at the general management level either for middle or back office roles
- Prior experience in an investment bank will be advantageous
- A relevant University degree in HR, Business or a related field
- Experience in developing and delivering end-to-end recruitment campaign strategies to meet client requirements
- Strong writing and communication, relationship management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to network and communicate at all levels
- Strong negotiation skills, ability to deal with very complex hiring processes and follow them through to closure
- Organized with strong prioritization skills
- Familiarity with an Applicant Tracking System such as Taleo, RecruitSoft, PeopleSoft as well as the social media
- Must be proficient in Mandarin - Japanese fluency will be an added advantage
