Senior Regional Business Partner — EMEA Head CTS Human Resources recruitment
Job Purpose:
Through effective influence and Leadership, create and deliver a realistic and achievable HR strategy that underpins the GTS business plan in EMEA and builds organisational capability, enabling the GTS business to achieve its goals and objectives.
The incumbent will also have management / development responsibility for the GTS HR Team which currently includes 4 London-based team members.
Area Overview:
The EMEA GTS business provides cash management, trade and securities services to companies, governments and other institutions across Western Europe and CEEMEA.
GTS intermediates in financial, commercial and capital flows and provides access to technology platforms, regulatory knowledge, operational expertise and data-driven analytics that enable corporations, financial institutions and governments to manage their financial operations efficiently, with visibility and control across their enterprise and supply chains. Clients benefit from the scale and consistency of GTS's global platforms, service experience, connectivity to market infrastructures, and proven operating expertise in developed and growth markets. The business' growth strategy is well-aligned with the fundamental trends that are shaping change across all industries: globalization, urbanization and digitization.
GTS EMEA is made up of two core businesses: Treasury and Trade Solutions, and Securities and Fund Services:
Treasury and Trade Solutions delivers comprehensive treasury and trade solutions including Liquidity and Investments, Cash Management, Prepaid and Commercial Cards, Receivables and Trade Solutions to corporations, financial institutions and the public sector.
Securities and Fund Services provides leading domestic and cross-border securities services to the world's top issuers, intermediaries and investors utilizing the industry's largest proprietary network.
The population of the EMEA GTS business is approximately 2,200 people across approximately 50 countries.
Key responsibilities:
- In partnership with the Senior GTS Regional Leadership team, establish an EMEA GTS HR strategy that builds organisational and leadership capability reflecting the business strategy, competitor activity and the key business drivers.
- Act as key advisor to individual Senior Managers in the GTS business on all aspect of the HR and business strategy.
- Providing strong leadership to a team of HR professionals including Business Partners and HR COEs across approx 50 countries with the view to coach and develop team members as well as actively encouraging teamwork across the region to leverage best practices and deliver the GTS HR Strategy.
- In conjunction with specialist Talent and Resourcing partners, deliver a talent strategy and lead the Talent Succession planning process.
- Establish leading edge employee Resourcing and Development initiatives which meet changing business requirements.
- Partner with the business to deliver a robust Performance Management strategy and process across the GTS businesses in the region
- Create organisation structures and change processes that enable the business to evolve to meet changing market and customer demands; translate these changes into action plans to influence and enhance organisational structure, capability and competence, thus creating shareholder value (e.g. reductions in force, restructuring/off-shoring, acquisitions and divestitures etc.)
- Partner with the Reward team to lead an efficient and coordinated annual year-end compensation process for all the GTS businesses in the region. Influence compensation and benefits strategy and policy across all EMEA countries for the GTS businesses; ensure it is appropriately implemented across the business.
- In conjunction with specialist Diversity partners, deliver a Diversity strategy which meets the needs of the GTS businesses. Develop and implement appropriate employee engagement and communication processes and interventions.
- Develop and maintain very close working relationships within local, regional and global HR teams to ensure consistency of HR approaches and processes for GTS across the region. Influence and share GTS EMEA HR industry leading best practices across global/regional and country HR teams
- Ensuring that HR processes are measured and impact the bottom line profitability.
- Provide/Input to senior HR leadership at a global level for the GTS function and for the HR function within EMEA.
- Act as a member of the EMEA HR Senior Leadership Team providing both business and HR policy/strategy input.
Development value:
The role provides the opportunity for a candidate who already has significant HR experience to lead the GTS HR team to develop and deliver all aspects of the HR strategy across EMEA. The role holder will gain exposure to Senior Management Committee members for the GTS business both regionally and globally and deal with complex and highly matrixed EMEA-wide management issues with a large and demanding client group.

Knowledge/ experience:

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree plus professional HR qualification
- Post graduate qualification/MBA or equivalent highly desirable
