Corporate  Banking Coverage (CBC) at Deutsche Bank in Asia is a relationship management team dedicated to serving the needs of large and mid-size local corporations, as well as the regional arms of multinational companies. Our focus is on long-term relationships: partnering with locally-based Chief Executive Officers, Chief Financial Officers, Chief Operating Officers and senior management, and helping them plan and effectively manage their companies’ capital structures through innovation and access to the latest banking technology. CBC in Asia has close ties to Deutsche Bank’s key divisions, ensuring the Bank is well-equipped to assist with a range of financial needs – including vanilla and structured financing, balance sheet management, investment advice, hedging, and even private wealth management.

Senior Relationship Manager, Director - Acting as a Senior Relationship Manager and first point of contact to serve the relevant client base; the candidate must be able to identify opportunities, structure solutions and execute with the help of product partners. Key customer contacts will be at the CEO, CFO and Treasurer level. Marketing to existing and potential new clients to develop new revenue streams.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensuring that Deutsche Bank is the provider of choice for clients and that all avenues for working with a client across different geographies and products are explored
- Form and run Client Service Teams with product teams for key relationships to deliver creative solutions and providing follow up as required
- Act as Global Relationship Manager to co-ordinate with other Deutsche Bank colleagues overseas to ensure clients receive seamless worldwide banking services
- To originate new transactions from both existing and new clients
- To assist team leaders to form viable business strategies, implementation plans, as well as prompt work process adjustments from time to time to adapt to changes in the market/regulatory environments
- To give instruction/coach to junior staff for efficient deal execution and his/her career development
- Help build and maintain DB’s profile in the local corporate and banking industry through active engagement in select professional organizations and government sponsored bodies

ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Education/Qualifications/Certification:
- Minimum 7 years of client service experience in banking industry paired with a strong sense of accountability and integrity; 
- Experience in working with large local Chinese corporates is preferred.
- With extensive exposure in China and an understanding of the business environment, regulatory regime and market trends;
- Some international work experience is preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Solid accounting, financial, and credit analysis skills;
- Thorough knowledge of different bank products, particularly commercial/transaction banking products;
- Fluent in Mandarin and English, both verbal and written.
Behavioural Skills: (e.g. communication skills)
- Excellent communication skills in terms of the ability to present to seniors confidently and knowledgably;
- Good team player who is willing to learn and work hard;
- Motivated and results oriented;
- Good public speaking and presentation skills are preferred.
