Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Research Associate to join our Internet team in New York, covering companies such as Google, Amazon, Facebook, eBay, Yahoo! and Netflix. As a Senior Research Associate on the Internet team, you will acquire expertise in technology, the internet, and the issues facing these dynamic companies, in addition to learning the most rigorous level of fundamental company and financial analysis. You will contribute to our written product, build complex financial models, understand new and future technologies, and interact with company managements as well as Sanford Bernstein's sales, trading, and institutional clients. You will have a high level of responsibility and daily interaction with the Senior Analyst, and be empowered to make an important contribution. We make a strong commitment to Associate development, and give you opportunities to rapidly gain visibility and incremental responsibility. Job Qualifications

Our Senior Research Associates typically have less than five years of professional experience; track records of outstanding professional performance; excellent analytical skills; a background or strong interest in the intersection of the financial markets, business, technology, computer science, and the Web; relentless intellectual curiosity and a drive to excel at the highest level. We look for stellar intellectual and academic credentials, including honors and awards, and test scores and grades in the 90th percentile and above. We want consummate team players who seek a highly rigorous and challenging environment for their career development. Candidates for Senior Research Associate positions on our technology teams typically have MBAs from top business schools and/or advanced degrees in finance, mathematics, physics, computer science or engineering. These are typically 3-5 year positions with outstanding growth potential.
