Senior Reward Manager recruitment
Working for a major, award winning UAE Bank, headquartered in Abu Dhabi, your responsibilities will be as follows:
Main Tasks
Base Pay
Review of Compensation and Reward practices to ensure they are aligned to business goals, competitive with the market and also remain consistent with the prevailing Laws.
Market Surveys
Participate in compensation surveys with leading survey providers and recommend fixed pay review based on the analysis of relevant market data for each business function of the Bank.
Variable Pay Plans
Assist Head of Reward in planning, compiling recommendations and implementation of variable pay plans.
• Coordinate with Business function and Finance to ensure timely availability of the performance matrix data.
• Calculate the variable pay pool with business function and coordinate with Group Head / Business Head for compiling recommendation of individual incentive pay.
• Ensure that the recommendations are in line with the Variable Pay plan for respective business function and bank-wide variable pay framework.
• Ensure proper communication of the variable pay plan details and also after each performance period proper communication of the individual incentive details (including the breakup in to cash and deferred element and details about the deferred compensation process)
• Compile MIS and summaries of incentive payout for the review of Head of HR, CEO and Compensation Committee.
• Highlight all the exceptions for the approval of CEO and / or Compensation Committee
Advising other functions of HR and Business managers on Reward related matters
• Provide advice to Recruitment team on the offer packages (including compensation for the loss of LTI)
• Keep an open and active communication channel with business managers to keep abreast with the changes coming in the business environment and advise business managers on all the reward related matters for their function.
Review of Reward processes
• Assist Head of Reward in reviewing the Reward processes (including Job Evaluation, Base pay review, Variable pay plans review, Promotion cycles, etc) to ensure these processes remains effective in delivering the reward services required by the business.
Special Projects
• Assist Head of Reward in Special projects involving Reward and broader HR functions for the fully owned subsidiaries of the Bank
Compliance with Labour Law
• Stay abreast of UAE Labor laws to ensure that management are aware of changes and action is taken to reflect the labor laws in the operation of the Bank.
Experience and Qualifications
University Degree
Reward / compensation management Certification is desirable
A minimum of 5 - 7 years relevant experience in a major organisation, 3 years of which operating at a senior consultant/manager level.
A broad HR experience in a corporate environment is desirable.
