What will the role
involve?
- To manage the operational
delivery of reward within Corporate Banking - To support the Head of
Reward in the operational achievement of Reward policy and the
development and implementation of wider Reward strategy and plans
which enable the business to achieve its business
strategy - As part of the Group's wider
Reward professional practice, contribute to the development and
implementation of Group-wide reward initiatives which support
Barclays overall business strategy.

Operational Reward

- Leading and delivering specific 'business as usual' activities for
constituent parts of the business including: - Support the successful
delivery of the payround process - Act as key contact point
with HRBPs - Preparation of MI to support
new and existing initiatives - Assist in the delivery of
operational reward initiatives - Undertaking reward
governance items - Be a Reward subject matter
expert and act as a trusted advisor in resolving complex and
ambiguous problems when required
Specific support
of defined business units (30%)
- Advising Business Partners
and line managers on reward issues - Providing full reward
support to senior hire recruitment packages - Provide internal reward
consultancy services across the business - Liaise with International
(non-UK) HR and Reward colleagues, working across the global
matrix
Support Head of
Reward (20%)
- Deliver operational
excellence for Reward practice - Develop and deliver reward
strategy and solutions to support business
objectives - Draft and review
communications as required

Skills
- Strong reward specialist - able to develop and
deliver reward strategies and solutions involving base pay,
variable pay/incentives, long term incentives, and benefits.
Comfortable with both employee reward and executive reward
agendas. - Strong operational skill base. Able to
manage and action the detail of Reward delivery through the Reward
calendar, especially payround - Excellent communication skills and
relationship management ability - Strong analytical and financial
skills - Broad set of well-developed leadership skills
encompassing project management, negotiation, influencing,
facilitation collaboration, flexibility, teamwork, well
rounded interpersonal communication skills, and ability to
