Purpose of role:
To respond to RFPs, RFIs, Due Diligences and ad hoc queries as well as contribute to the maintenance of product related information and data to support SWIP's business development teams win new business. To act as a deputy for the Head of RFP in their absence
Principal Responsibilities:
* To complete RFPs, RFIs and due diligence questionnaires across all major asset classes for the Institutional and Wholesale teams.
* Update and maintain RFP database of responses and improve the quality of RFPs.
* Engage with all parts of the business to review existing content and to customise new responses
* Produce high quality data for use in RFPs and consultant databases.
* Manage the proposal process in the absence of the Head of RFP
* Provide support to other members of the team and review their work
* Follow the appropriate processes in place for the maintenance of all product-related information.
* Ensure compliance with all legislative regulatory requirements including Scottish Widows guidelines standards and reporting requirements in order to reduce risk and operational loss for the Group.
Key Skills/Experience:
* Hands on experience of the production of RFPs/questionnaires
* RFP experience within asset management and a good knowledge of principle assets classes (equities, fixed income, property)
* Understanding of the Institutional and Wholesale markets
* Familiarity with consultant databases
* Data Management
* Advanced MS Office skills
* IMC preferred or studying towards
* Supervisory experience of other RFP Writers
