Senior Risk Analyst Enterprise Risk Management recruitment

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

-Enterprise-wide risk management

-Support the identification and assessment of major risks across core commercial and operational activities on a ‘top-down’ and ‘bottom-up’ basis

-Contribute to the risk oversight and control in relation to new strategic initiatives and operational capability projects • Articulate and develop risk reporting metrics for the company’s risk appetite

-Conduct risk monitoring and review activity to support on-going senior oversight of the company’s risk profile

-Identify and assess enterprise-wide risk issues across the company’s spanning commercial and operational activities. Support the senior level communication and mitigation of enterprise-wide risks in collaboration with commercial teams and support functions

-Lead Risk’s role in the annual strategic planning process Economic capital management

-Lead the economic capital forecasting activities of the Enterprise Risk Team across key transactions and strategic planning activities

-Work closely with commercial teams and key risk personnel to develop bespoke models and calculations to forecast economic capital requirements

-Support the development and implementation of economic capital monitoring and performance measurement methodologies across all commercial teams and legal entities

-Participate in economic capital reporting activities across different entities

-Conduct statistical modelling to estimate financial exposure from key non-quantitative risks e.g. operational Risk policies and procedures development

-Assist with the development and maintenance of formal risk management policies and procedures documentation Risk due diligence

-Carry out initial risk review to build understanding of the transaction, identify all potential operational and commercial risks and allocate issues arising to the appropriate risk teams

-Advise the Head of Operational and Enterprise Risk on major issues and risks and liaise with commercial teams to develop mitigation approaches to ensure successful transaction execution

You will be able to understand complex commercial transactions and identify the key risk and value drivers and demonstrate strong quantative and statistical modelling skills. You will strong communication skills written and oral, adept at building trusting relationships within other departments in order to enlist their participation and support. The successful candidate will have an understanding of the measurement and reporting of risks.

You will have highly developed analytical abilities as well as a practical sense of what works in complex organisations. You will be resourceful and tenacious in approaching problems and have energy, determination and judgement and be capable of working with multiple stakeholders under tight deadlines.

You will have a minimum of a first degree education in finance or numerate related subject.

It is essential for you to have experience in the following areas.

-Risk Management in dynamic financial trading environment.

- Reviewing and managing risk within complex contracts

- Developing or assisting with the development of departmental capability

- Expertise in working collaboratively across a range of stakeholders to lead and support process improvement solutions
