Senior Risk Analyst Reporting

We are looking to hire a Senior Risk Analyst with in-depth understanding of property and casualty risk and outstanding analytical and editing/writing skills to join the Risk Reporting unit analysing our changing risk landscape and producing holistic risk reports.

The opportunity
The Risk Reporting unit within the Group Risks Analytics department is responsible for reporting to the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors on Swiss Re's risk landscape as well as for providing risk and solvency information to internal and external stakeholders, in particular to regulators, rating agencies and investors. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain insight into Swiss Re's risk landscape at Group, business unit and legal entity level, the Group risk model and the impact of business steering at executive level.
You will analyse our risk landscape with focus on property and casualty risks, check data consistency, interpret changes in the landscape over time and be responsible for writing and editing risk reports.
Working closely with risk specialists and a variety of corporate functions that support risk reporting with information and content, you will coordinate and provide commentary explaining these changes from a business perspective. At the same time, you will investigate special risk related issues and be involved in risk management related projects.

About you:
With at least five years of experience in
(re)insurance, you have an in-depth understanding of property and casualty risks an ideally a quantitative background (e.g. engineering, natural science, economics, finance or business administration).
In addition to being a good team player, you have substantial experience in writing and editing in English and excellent analytical, communication and people skills.
