Senior Risk & Compliance Manager – 6 month contract recruitment
The primary purpose of this role is to assist the head of risk and compliance in measuring and managing risk in relation to all equity and fixed interest products. Other duties will include but are not limited to;
- Developing and maintaining relationships with both internal and external business partners
- Monitoring and advising all relevant stakeholders to ensure they comply with all compliance procedures and regulations
- Contributing to the development of the operational risk and compliance frameworks
- Demonstrating a detailed understanding of AFSL licensing regulations within a asset management firm
The candidate will have proven experience in an operational risk and compliance role, whilst having strong communication skills as they will be negotiating with senior stakeholders. GS007 auditing experience is essential for this position. A solid grounding in compliance monitoring pre and post trade is also required. A working knowledge of Charles Rivers or Blackrock systems is desirable.
