We are now inviting qualified individuals to join this team in the role Senior Sales Manager, Corporate Banking, with responsibility for generating new business and growing an existing client portfolio.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and enhancing revenue by identifying and selling innovative Payments and Cash Management (PCM) solutions to a defined portfolio of Commercial and Corporate clients
- Pricing, reviewing and negotiating the full range of cash management services, together with effecting any cost reduction initiatives required by the HSBC Group;
- Working closely with Relationship Managers to develop business opportunities in Australia and across the region;
- Understanding customer requirements and developing appropriate cash management solutions that answer the client's needs;
- Broadening and deepening the wallet share of HSBC by identifying the overall cash management needs of clients;
- Maintaining a close and effective working relationship with PCM product management, client services and implementation teams to ensure optimal solution, pricing, positioning and value to customer;
- Providing appropriate responses to tenders and RFPs as received, with comprehensive, competitive and individually tailored proposals within the customer's required timeframe and leading professional presentations, both generic and product-specific, to customers in support of potential opportunities.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to the Victorian PCM sales team
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline;
- Proven sales experience and a track record of success in the Payments and Cash Management corporate banking sector
- A strong knowledge of local and regional cash management and clearing services, products and techniques;
- The ability to build effective relationships with all levels of internal stakeholders and external clients;
- Outstanding interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills;
- Previous team leadership skills beneficial
- A strong commercial orientation combined with a customer driven approach.
