Senior Sales Manager – Financial Services/Buy Side (REF: SSM-FS170112) recruitment
This high profile MNC is a leading source of financial intelligence information for businesses and professionals globally. They provide expertise and technology to deliver critical information to leading decision makers across all industries. They’re currently seeking a very strong sales candidate who has had recent experience selling directly to hedge funds across the region.
This exciting new opportunity will report into the division head and will be responsible for selling their buy side intelligence and research product across the region; generating new business opportunities and growing existing accounts. Selling directly to the likes of equity finance, credit trading, EDM, DCM, and convertible bonds offices, you will be responsible for building solid relationships with the clients and delivering on your own individual new business sales targets and subscriber renewals. You will indentify new business opportunities, manage the roll out of new products, increase sales of global content across ACAP and develop a continuous pipeline of sales leads.
The successful candidate will preferably have minimum 4 yrs experience working in a brokerage/investment banking business. You will have excellent relationships with the buy-side and investment banks across APAC and have a proven track record in sales, growing businesses and delivery targets. You will be entrepreneurial, confident in communicating with senior personal across the buy side market and have excellent written and spoken English. Fluency in an additional Asian language is beneficial. You will have a strong understanding of the financial markets and the global hedge fund/buy side industry.
