Senior Sales Manager Job in London, London UK
This role is with a leading carrier neutral Colocation, Cloud, ICT Solutions and Managed Services provider based in London. It operates facilities across the globe, covering all major commercial and financial hubs. They have now grown to become one of the largest, global data centre providers in this space and are looking to add a senior manager to their sales team to help with the continued growth of the team and development of their cloud based services.
Main Purpose of the Role:
· Develop, implement and drive the sales strategy and revenue objectives
· Manage a team of 7 sales and sales support specialists
· Tactical and strategic planning for specific accounts and industry verticals
· Ensure financial performance is met by the sales team
· Identifying prospects to target, thinking about what their go to market strategy is, working with product teams to advise on what products are required by the clients
· Managing PR or Marcomms agencies to arrange a presence at industry events, producing marketing materials, developing pricing, managing the company message and image that goes out to market
· Regular reporting to senior management
· Develop and deliver a training programme
· Create a work environment that stimulates and motivates all members of the team
In order to be considered for the role you will need to have demonstrable experience in:
· A thorough and detailed understanding of the Data Centre and IT Outsourcing space
· Managing and developing a similar sized team
· Setting and managing team performance
· Experience of C level engagement within large corporate clients
· Developing and implementing strategy
· Increasing revenue and maintaining existing clients
· Reporting and presenting to board level
· Developing junior and senior sales and marketing professionals
· Senior level sales within the mid to large enterprise market
