Senior Sales Manager, PCM (Global Banking) recruitment

As Corporate clients in the market continue to expand both domestically and internationally the potential growth of this business is substantial.
To be part of this exciting phase, we are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Manager (Global Banking) to drive sales growth and manage a team of Sales Managers. You will work cohesively with other PCM areas (locally, regionally and globally) and Relationship Management teams to help ensure that PCM is a major contributor to Group economic profit.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Winning new PCM business and penetrating further into existing clients to increase HSBC's share of wallet.
- Gaining market share by proactively targeting and winning business from new clients.
- Supporting the delivery of the PCM sales strategy and plans.
- Engaging sales leadership within the customer groups to drive PCM acquisition.
- Meeting aggressive sales objectives of the team through the development of a first class sales force and product enhancements needed to secure PCM mandates.
- Coaching and mentoring sales personnel.
- Ensuring a smooth transition of cash management wins from Sales to Implementation.
- Ensuring service quality and profitability meet customer and bank expectations and that accurate MIS reports are delivered in a timely manner.
Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
- At least five years proven experience in banking sales, including specialist Payments and Cash Management industry expertise.
- Experience leading a team of sales professionals.
- Excellent sales, marketing and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to liase effectively with personnel across functions.
