MANDATE:

Work with Senior Management Team to develop and execute a 1-2 year business plan to maximize the acquisition and loyalty of third party (Auto Dealers) clients across various markets. Continuously assess and improve the fit-to-role, skilled knowledge and behaviours of subordinates consistent with a high performance sales culture to deliver on the strategic business objectives and provide the required level of risk management and compliance.  Continuously assess and improve the work processes, ensuring sales, risk and compliance are within prescribed limits and maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of the sales team.  Continuously monitor and assess risk and escalate issues to the Vice President Investment Dealer Direct as appropriate.  Develop and maintain an extensive network in the market to enhance the visibility of BMO Bank of Montreal and generate new business opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with external referral sources and provide exceptional service to clients of the Dealer Direct businesses. Effectively execute managerial and cross functional accountabilities and authorities.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
- Working knowledge of credit products and processes
- Specialized Sales experience and demonstrated history of successful business development activities including ability to network in external markets
- Working knowledge of personal lending products and services
- Working knowledge of the Banks lending philosophies, policies and procedures
- In-depth to knowledge of automotive, RV, marine industry
- Introductory to basic knowledge of:  everyday banking products, business banking lending products, mutual fund products, RRSP’s and RESP’s, term investment products, direct brokerage (Investorline), full service brokerage (Nesbitt Burns), Direct Banking
- Bilingual (East)
