Responsibilities
- identify and explore sales and business opportunities through on-going proactive contact initiatives with prospects in Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau
- involve and coordinate relationship management activities with relationship management, product specialist/portfolio managers to satisfy and exceed client needs
- work closely with various departments and business units to grow the business through local connection
- work with the Institutional Client Servicing team to ensure that excellent operational servicing is maintained and that firm is seen as the first class institutional product and service provider
- grow revenue and client base
- coordinate with various departments for new business take-on
- proactively prospect potential leads (asset owners and asset gatherers)
- work closely with internal counsel to draft investment management agreements and legal requirement for local regulators
- work with Product Development Team by providing feedback and ideas on new products and service enhancements which includes preparation of communication materials to employers and employees
- participate in industry associations and meetings to promote firm's brand, products and services
- provide guidance and supervision to junior staffs
Qualifications
- university graduate in business, finance, economics or a related discipline
- five to seven years' experience with financial firms, regulators or investment consulting firms
- excellent presentation and communication skills
- fluent in Mandarin and English
- strong computer skills: Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- self-starter and fast learner, excellent interpersonal skill
- able to work under pressure and meet tight delivery deadlines
- flexible and positive attitude to work
