The Senior Security Analyst will work within the Information Security Group to support the development and administration of the company's activities related to information security processes, technology management, risk assessments, and employee security awareness. This person will be involved in designing/implementing procedures and controls that are necessary to ensure and protect the safety and security of information systems assets, including prevention of intentional or inadvertent access, modification, disclosure, or destruction. The Senior Security Analyst will also research, recommend, and implement changes to procedures and systems to enhance information systems security.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in information security, privacy or a data protection-related function.
- Proven understanding of how data flows through an organization, associated risk, and appropriate mitigating security controls.
- Proven understanding of security technologies such as intrusion prevention, event management, and encryption.
- Proven knowledge of the U.S. privacy and security regulatory landscape.
- Minimum of 2 years of project management experience.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience building network of relationships across functions.
- Ability to correlate enterprise risk with appropriate administrative, physical and technical security controls.
- Experience working with vendor management and associated privacy and security controls.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Proven knowledge of or experience with healthcare information security.
- Proven knowledge of information management or Health Information Technology (HIT).
- Demonstrated understanding of ISO 27001/27002 and other security management frameworks such as the NIST 800 series.
- Experience with the administration of enterprise class intrusion prevention and security technologies preferred.
- Proven knowledge of software development life cycle and experience with security applications.
- Experience with log consolidation and/or security incident and event management.
