Senior Software Developer-ASP.NET
The Business Intelligence (BI) team is looking for a technical generalist to develop Web-based solutions and liaise with business partners. Good decisions require good information, and there is an increasing demand for tools which will provide that information. As a BI Technical Lead, you will have the opportunity to create these tools. Your job will be to partner with internal service providers and subject matter experts to rapidly deliver the right information at the right time to the right person. Along the way, you will need to create a business justification for your work, and be prepared to present it to senior leadership. Excellent communication skills, motivation, flexibility, and the ability to self-teach are all critical to success in this role. Responsibilities - Convert business needs into technical requirements. - End-to-end solution delivery. - Propose solutions leveraging appropriate toolsets following thorough analysis of requirements and data sources. - Research emerging technologies and Business Intelligence methodologies that can be adopted to deliver World Class BI solutions. - Present solutions at various stages of development to business partners. - Contribute to project timelines, budgets, and justifications. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or 4 years of additional equivalent work experience required - 5 years experience with a wide range of database technologies, including SQL Server, DB2, and Oracle. - Experience with ASP.Net development and IIS hosting. - Experience with Wintel server administration and hardware budgeting. - Ability to learn new technologies quickly, and without formal training - Ability to communicate ideas to a non-technical audience
