We’re looking for a solid developer that knows or can quickly learn about multimedia infrastructure, so experience developing and/or deploying web-based multimedia applications is a big plus. In addition to our large PHP code base, we have some Bash and Python scripts, and Puppet configuration. Familiarity with (and contribution to) open source projects and/or working with the Wikipedia communtiy will be helpful. This will be an opportunity to learn more (or teach us about) about distributed filesystems, as we are working with Ceph and OpenStack’s Swift.

Links to GitHub, etc. are exceptionally useful Please provide us with information you feel would be useful to us in gaining a better understanding of your technical background and accomplishments BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
