Cenzic is looking for a motivated team-player to join our engineering team in our Campbell, California office. This senior level position needs to be filled by someone who already possesses knowledge of software development principals and tools, and can quickly learn the technologies used at Cenzic. The ability to continuously learn as technology evolves is important for success in this position.
The responsibilities and duties of this position include but are not limited to:
- Research, design, implement, test and deploy new security testing features in our flagship product.
- Create robust, high-performing, maintainable code.
- A team worker, able to work in a fast-paced environment using agile methodologies.
- Prototype ideas and measure/validate results.
- Has a passion to learn web security
The skills, experience, and knowledge required to be considered for this position include:BS/MS in Computer Science, other technical degree, or equivalent applicable experience.
- Strong experience with Oracle Databases ranging from installation to Catalog tables
- Experience with Enterprise Mysql
- Sound software design and programming skills.
- Strong understanding of Socket Level Programming, Design Patterns etc.
- Strong background of internet technologies, WWW and networking (protocols).
- Knowlege of browser technologies and internals.
- Knowledge of JavaScript and web technologies for the browser (HTML, XML, CSS).
- Strong experience working with C# .NET and C++, ASP.net IIS and other Microsoft Technologies
- Able to quickly prototype ideas
- Able to give rough work estimates and strive to complete projects by the deadline.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Highly Desirable Skills:
- Experience working with HTTP protocols in various environments (development, debug).
- Experience working with web 2.0 technologies – AJAX, JSON.
- Familiarity with web application security issues.
- Experience with a source control systems such as CVS, Git, Mercurial
- Strong background and emphasis on high performance algorithms and code.
- Experience working with multi-threaded application development and state management.
