Senior Solutions Marketing Manager - Cloud Service Providers

Working in the Cloud Service Providers solutions marketing team, the successful candidate will create and evangelize simple, compelling, differentiated messages, content and tools for our sales teams and customers to accelerate adoption and awareness of our leadership in hybrid cloud environments. You will drive the positioning and value of the broader EMC portfolio and drive creation and execution of go-to-market tools, content, programs and competitive positioning. The successful candidate will also need to demonstrate creativity as well as strong organizational skills. Specific responsibilities related to the job include the following: · Assist in developing messaging and positioning of EMC?s portfolio of products and solutions for hybrid clouds. · Create and/or manage the production of collateral to highlight benefit of EMC?s thought leadership in enabling IT transformation. · Assess go-to-market requirements, establishing market awareness plans and strategies, producing sales enablement tools such as TCO/ROI calculators, customer qualification tips and other marketing collateral. · Work closely with key marketing stakeholders (product management, campaign marketing, field marketing, marketing communications, Analyst relations, etc) to package and promote the collateral to ensure it is effectively delivered to key stakeholders and global sales force. · Plan and program manage launches, content strategy for events, go-to-market activities, sales training, and demand generation programs. · Own and maintain current information about competitive offerings and ongoing competitive positioning. Professional Experience: · Strong written and presentation skills; ability to create collateral, presentations and social media (blogs, etc); ability to create graphical representations of complex concepts; comfortable presenting to customers, partners, analysts, and internal stakeholders. · Ability to work cross-functionally and serve as lead for worldwide marketing initiatives. This position requires engagement with EMC executives, sales leadership, corporate marketing, channel partners, direct sales force and global theaters. · Fundamental marketing skills including understanding how to develop positioning and messaging. · Knowledge and experience in data center infrastructure products and data storage systems, servers, networking, virtualization, storage. · Strong understanding of customer needs and trends in data center operations and data storage market. · Marketplace knowledge of key industry players and data storage competitors as well as their offerings. Requirements: · Bachelor?s degree (BS/BA) required; MBA preferred. · 5-10 years of high tech marketing experience of which at least 5 years must have been spent marketing data center related products or solutions. · Up to 25% travel.
