Senior SOX Manager- PPI

Overview:

Maintaining and operating effectively within the agreed SOX control framework for. Responsibilities include the engagement of all relevant business leaders to ensure that they understand their SOX control requirements, that the process for annual review is compliant, that controls are assessed accurately and that all ineffective controls are remediated. The role holder will be managing a team of qualified auditors who have the responsibility of working with the management of Complaints Management to ensure that there is a control culture within their business. Communication, negotiation and influencing skills will be paramount to success and will be used in various committees and meetings to foster strong senior relationships. The role holder will have strong presentation and written communications and will ensure that the outputs of their team are professional and accurate.

Responsibilities:

•Owns complaint management PPI SOX Delivery
•SOX attestations
•SOX Issue management
•SOX Impact / rationalisation assessment
•Stakeholder and relationship management with business and central UK SOX team
•Developing and delivering of a process that ensures that SOX controls are accurately assessed and remediated where necessary (Strategy)
•Attracting and retaining a talented and diverse SOX team (People).
•Applying industry and best practice to deliver robust annual attestations, accurate assessment testing, remediation and documentation of changes (Process).
•Measuring performance using a consistent, transparent and balanced approach (Performance).
•Partnering with stakeholders in a professional and personal way to embed the control framework/culture into the business, to accurately assess controls and advise on suitable control when making process changes (Partnership).
•To contribute to the leadership of Governance PPI, demonstrating commitment to the strategic goals coupled with dedicated and singular focus on execution and delivery. (Leadership)
