SENIOR STRATEGIST / PORTFOLIO STRATEGY / INVESTMENT STRATEGY / CAPITAL MARKETS
Our client, a leading financial services company is currently looking for a Senior Strategist to join their Capital Markets team in Singapore. The Capital Markets team’s role is to identify the key drivers of business and asset market cycles and the link between them.
As the Senior Strategist your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining an investment framework to guide investment strategies over a 3-5 year time period. Develop and maintain a systematic monitoring framework to track economic and financial markets, understanding and modelling the links between the economic environment and asset pricing cycles. This will include having a clear approach to estimating the macro economic conditions that are priced into the equity, bonds, commodity and currency markets. You will lead research and develop models to understand the factors that drive asset returns, the assets of interest will include listed equities, bonds and unlisted or private markets such as private equities and real estate. You will prepare and present strategy reports to senior management and keep abreast of the latest academic work in Economics/Finance and Portfolio Management, translating them into useable strategies.
The successful candidate will have a Master’s degree in economics or finance with a keen interest in economics and financial markets research. You will have at least 10 years’ experience in financial services ideally portfolio management with exposure to various asset classes.
