Harrington Starr are currently partnered with a prestigious Investment Bank which who are currently looking to hire a Senior Support Engineer who will be providing support on all issues that occur with the server and desktop infrastructure.
If you are selected for the Senior Support Engineer role you would be expected to carry put the following on a daily basis:
* Make sure that SLA's are Kept
* Support all users and make sure that internal systems are maintained
* Document issues and procedures made to mitigate them
* To make sure that the office is able to run smoothly, therefore responsible for other members of the IT team
* Provide feedback to both internal and external stakeholders on issues that have occurred with the current infrastructure
The successful Senior Support Engineer will be working in a vibrant working environment on an energetic trade floor and be responsible for the overall smooth running of the office and facilitate continued expansion. You will be utilising all your skills on a daily basis and mentoring those under you in the IT team, you will gain invaluable management experience whilst remaining highly technical. In order to successfully apply for the Senior Support Engineer role you must have the following skills
* Excellent understanding of Microsoft Server technology, MCITP qualified
* Experience using SAN storage technology
* Experience using Watchguard technology
* Experience using Bloomberg, Datastream and Fidessa is desired
* Excellent customer facing skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
