Senior Systems / Business Analyst – Electronic Trading recruitment
The Role
Successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting a suite of business critical and multifaceted applications running in an investment management and Electronic Trading environment, along with their enhancement deliverables required satisfy the business needs. Successful candidate will be working with traders, front/back-office, exchanges and 3rd party vendors to investigate and solve system issues. You will be working with Business Users to understand and analyze their requirements and should be able to translate them in to Business/technical specification in collaboration with concerned
Successful candidates will have the following key skills:
• Understanding of FIX protocol and message specifications an advantage
• Exposure to financial systems and services, specifically trading or risk management systems an advantage
• Experience of integrating business application in an Investment banking environment.
• Exposure to financial systems and services, particularly Electronic Trading or risk management systems.
In conjunction with above we would ideally prefer candidates with:
• Experience of scripting languages such as Korn Shell, Perl or Python, SQL Databases and the Unix or Linux operating systems required
• Must be analytical, detailed, focused and capable of building consensus and working with a diverse array of colleagues
