Working with minimal direction, this position will provide systems analysis, design, development, testing and support for mid-sized to large information systems. Responsibilities include:
- Identify/document user requirements for small to mid-sized applications
- Prepare detailed system specifications based on user requirements
- Develop cost and resource estimates for project
- Develop and code system components according to specifications
- Prepare system documentation, including requirements document, specification document, test plans and user manuals
- Perform unit and system test and, as needed, validation testing
- Coordinate with Operations staff on deployment of application
- Coordinate with Help Desk in providing ongoing support on application
- Provide training to end users on deployed systems
- Provide guidance to junior staff in executing systems development responsibilities
Education and Experience:
- 4-yr degree in Computer Science or related area
- 6 years experience in full-life cycle applications development in a web/client/server environment or specialized applications technology
- Experience with at the following software languages or packages: C#, .Net Framework (2.0/3.0/3.5/4.0), Visual Studio 2008/2010, ASP.NET, SQL Server 2005/2008 (T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS), SharePoint 2007/2010, Javascript, AJAX, Web Services, Telerik Web UI Controls ASP.NET AJAX, Visual Basic 6
- 1 year experience in project management
- Or equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provide the individual with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Client focused approach with strong interpersonal skills
- Must be able to multi task and pay close attention to detail
