POSITION TITLE:                     Senior Systems Security Engineer

 

CLEARANCE:                           Top Secret

 

COMPENSATION:                   $90,000-$110,000

 

REPORTS TO:                          On-Site Program Manager/Task Leader

 

LOCATION:                             Washington DC Metro Area

 

INSUSTRY:                               Public Sector

 

TRAVEL:                                  0-15%

 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

a.      Provide IT security consulting services to a major Federal Agency

b.      Monitor and  analyze Audit Logs

c.       Perform FISMA Compliance Auditing and Vulnerability Analysis

d.      Provide expert guidance, advice and input on cyber security related problems

 

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

 

a.      Minimum of five years of technical experience performing security requirements analysis for, and system design, of computer systems

b.      Sound technical aptitude for Audit Log Management

c.       Experience in FISMA Compliance Auditing, Vulnerability Analysis

d.      Experience in Intrusion Detection

e.      Competence in Active Directory

f.        Competence in VBScripting

g.      Expertise in Cyber security, structured analysis and architectural design concepts/

methodologies

h.     Possess knowledge of state-of-the-art concepts in open system standards (e.g. OSI,ISO,OSE,TAFIM), design methodologies and tools such as entity relationship/dataflow diagrams and IDEF1x, object oriented principles, and systems engineering practices

i.        Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Process
