Summary
This position is a FULLTIME EMPLOYEE role consulting with internal clients. Responsible for translating business objectives into learning solutions which increase employee readiness to execute against tactical and strategic business plans. Works in conjunction with business unit clients (functional leads) and HR business partners in identifying, assessing, and analyzing business requirements and gaps, and recommends appropriate learning solutions.

Essential Duties

*Supports the sales organization by consulting with channel leads, sales directors, sales managers and individual employees on the current and emerging business drivers and opportunities impacting the sales organization.

*Creatively develops and facilitates new learning and reinforcement programs that address any identified skill gaps, and assists sales in meeting and exceeding revenue targets

*Conducts account and opportunity strategy sessions with sales managers and AD’s utilizing the TAS selling methodology

*Partners with the sales HR business partners on strategies and programs that support the business goals of the sales channels

* Supports the goal of adopting a solution selling model through training and reinforcement programs

*Manages end-to-end learning solutions following ADDIE design principles (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate). Beyond the initial requirements phase, architects the preliminary training design and delivery mechanisms, collaborates with Instructional Designers on content development and coordinates training delivery with subject matter experts.

*Identifies, plans, and administers training workshops that are driven by the strategic performance needs of the organization including needs assessment, design, development, delivery and evaluation of workshops.

*Analyzes employee feedback and performance data to measure, identify and eliminate performance gaps, and to coordinate the deployment of company-wide training workshops.

*Responsible for measuring program effectiveness and provides feedback to the client. Develops reports and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of the learning solution.

*Identifies, assess, and analyzes requirements and gaps in order to design effective learning solutions.

Education and Experience
* Experience: 7+ yrs
* Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
* A combination of education and experience is acceptable.
*7+ years of experience in telecom sales or a related technology,
Previous experience in sales training preferred.
*Experience implementing a wide-range delivery mechanisms, including instructor led training, computer based training, virtual training, podcasts and other mechanisms

Knowledge, Skills or Abilities
* Must demonstrate solid business acumen and previous client-facing roles
* Complete understanding of the sales process, sales cycle and solution selling
* Practical experience utilizing a sales methodology for account and opportunity management, preferably TAS (Target Account Selling)
Ability to facilitate interactive workshops in either an instructor-led or virtual environment
* Proficiency with Salesforce.com* Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
* Program management experience; PMP certification a plus
* Other attributes: outstanding interpersonal skills, spirit of collaboration, thirst for knowledge, sense of urgency and creative problem solving skills
