Our client is seeking to hire a Senior Tax Manager with strong tax planning and project management experience for their international operation. This opportunity is based internationally and will require relocating overseas.
This will suit a qualified Accountant AITI with strong taxation experience built in an Industry role or in Practice.
Salary: €80 – 120K + benefits.
Key responsibilities to include:
- Commercial role to add strategic value in terms of Group tax planning
- Partner with Senior Management to ensure accuracy of tax structures across the company
- Responsibility for the tax affairs of multiple units across the company
- Advise on a variety of tax initiatives across the company
- Proactive management of tax affairs to reduce risks inherent to a business and to ensure that no tax exposures arise
Ideal candidate:
Qualified Accountant and Qualified Tax professional with strong commercial acumen and at least 5 years’ post qualification experience in a Tax position
Project management experience required in order to effectively manage numerous assignments from various parts of the business, acting in an advisory capacity to the business for all tax related queries ensuring that deadlines are met
Indirect tax experience advantageous
